Daft Punk is the defining musicians of techno music.  Their fast beats, robotic melodic vocals, and their risk taking in music innovation has lead to an interesting sound that cyber punk and steampunk fans can embrace

In the song Steam Machine, it starts out with the musician saying Steam in a voice that makes you think of steam leaking out a steam engine, or coming out the tea kettle, minus the high pitched whine.  Than it breaks into a techno beat and good rhythm.  If you haven't discovered Daft Punk you should definitely give them a listen.

This is a real good steampunk music video from Abney Park with its interesting steam punk visuals, neo victorian muse, and all around fun vibe. I saw these guys back in the day before they hit it big, and I gotta say, they keep getting better and better, and its great to see music from the steampunk genre get recognition.
